Titanium

Copper and brass

1.Linear guide: lubricating oil

The coupling of the nozzle flow and the workpiece is a gas dynamics problem, the air flow pattern and the spacing between the nozzle and the workpiece are important variables. If in the laser cutting machine, nozzle from the workpiece surface too close, will produce the lens of strong back pressure, influence of sputtering cutting production by the ability to disperse; but the jet from the workpiece surface too far, resulting in unnecessary loss of kinetic energy. The distance between the workpiece and the nozzle is generally controlled by 1~2mm. The cutting of the shaped workpiece is mainly by the automatic adjustment height device, such as the contact, the back pressure and the inductance and the capacitance change and so on.

4.Size of nozzle

The size of the nozzle is affected by the size of the laser cutting machine, the size of the thermal reaction zone and the cutting quality of the cutting width. As the nozzle diameter increases, the heat affected zone is narrow, the main reason is that the air flow from the nozzle to the cutting area matrix material produced a strong cooling effect. The nozzle diameter is too large to cause the cutting seam is too wide, and the nozzle is too small will cause the calibration difficulties, to induce the beam is small nozzle cut. The common nozzle diameter is 1~1.5mm.
